Some mornings are such that when I wake up, I just know everything around me is perfect. There is an energy that I can sense, which fills me in so much that I rise above and know that this is the perfect time, the perfect moment to do what I want to do. It makes you feel amazing; there is a power in every thought that occurs. It is as if suddenly life has taken such a turn that the road ahead is just a white canvas, and you are the painter. Draw what you want to, take yourself where you want to go, make this morning even more meaningful. Clarity of thought in you makes you smile within. It is as if time has slowed down for this particular morning, making you relish every minute of it.
Even the movement of the curtains hung on my window in the room, the greyish clouds outside visible now and then through the window, the soothing feel and softness of the slow wind blowing, makes me feel magical. Time stands still. You feel beautiful from within and there is nothing more you want to ask for. It is the morning that makes you feel content.
The colours on the walls of the house, the distinct scent of the room, the delicious tea in the hand and the feeling of that cold air sweeping in when one breathes, fills you with the feeling that you now have an intense concentration in your mind to do wonders; maybe learn a new skill, or enlighten yourself from anything you read that day, perform or demonstrate an art; just about anything that is out of the ordinary.
I don’t really know how it works, but there are inevitably certain mornings that are more special than every day mornings. And when we experience them once in a while, it makes us stop in our tracks and look around once again; gifting us that ever elusive feeling of ‘now’; those grey beautiful cool mornings.
